I have been feeling stressed out most of my life. I have also been diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder. But I have realized that my anxiety is caused primarily by my thoughts. By focusing on the future and the past. But all there is… all that really matters is the present moment. The here and now.
Mindfulness is the process of paying attention to the here and now, “in a particular way… on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.” (Kabat-Zinn).
This is what this new blog is all about. It is the continuation of my first blog Living the Kingdom. I hope to share more about my journey towards increased mindfulness. Hope you share some of your ideas as well.
